Cass Release Contacts

Cass County release questions must go to the office that created the record. The county jail and Sheriff hold local booking and release entries, MDOC holds state-prison records, and the Cass field office handles state supervision questions. MI-VINE supplies automated custody notifications rather than certified records.

This is a private reference site, not a government office. It cannot verify custody, release anyone, post bond, or retrieve an official booking record. Contact the responsible public office for those services.

Official Cass Records Contacts

The agency that created a record is the best place to request it. No public business hours were confirmed for the jail or Sheriff records contact, so call before visiting.

MI-VINE provides Michigan custody and court-status access around the clock at 800-770-7657, with TTY service at 866-847-1298. It can supply an alert, but the Sheriff or MDOC remains the source for an official release or discharge record. The Cass County Parole/Probation Office can address an appropriate supervision-location question; it does not hold Cass County Jail release logs.

Choose the route that matches the question:

  • Use the home page for the full released-person search and Sheriff record-request path.
  • Use parole and probation for state supervision and the Cass field office.
  • Check the 24-hour release list instructions when reconstructing a same-day release window.
  • Compare a projected release date with a VINELink check for notice of a custody event.
  • Open the facility pages in the footer for a specific jail, release-processing prison, or field office.
  • Use MDOC OTIS for a sentenced state prisoner, BOP for a federal sentence, and ICE ODLS only for a supported immigration transfer.
